We explain accounting and tax in plain English. You should understand the answer, not simply receive one.
About Clarity
Modern enough to use technology well. Human enough to know that business is always personal to the people building it.
Clarity Tax Advisors exists to make the financial side of running a business feel clearer, calmer and more useful.
Why Clarity exists
For a long time, much of accountancy was built around recording history: prepare the accounts, calculate the tax, meet the deadline, move on.
Those things still matter. They need to be done accurately and responsibly.
But modern technology can now handle more of the routine work. We think the opportunity is to use that progress to make the accountant-client relationship better — clearer communication, earlier conversations and more time spent on questions that actually matter to the person running the business.

Led by Wayne Harris
Wayne leads Clarity Tax Advisors with a simple view: business owners shouldn’t have to choose between efficient systems and a real relationship with the person looking after their numbers.
As both an accountant and entrepreneur, he sees the financial side from both perspectives. The technical work has to be right, but the answer also has to be understandable, timely and useful to the person making the decision.
That thinking sits behind the Clarity Standard: handle the essentials properly, explain what matters in plain English and raise important issues early enough for the client to act.
What Clarity means to us
We explain accounting and tax in plain English. You should understand the answer, not simply receive one.
Where something deserves attention, we want to raise it early — not wait until it becomes urgent.
Behind every company number is a person taking risks, making decisions and trying to build a better future.
We use technology to reduce friction and routine work, while keeping judgement and relationships firmly human.
Good advice is grounded in accuracy, professional judgement and doing what’s right — not simply what’s easiest.
Accounting information should help you do something: understand, decide, prepare or act.
How trust is earned
Clear, proactive and human only mean something if they show up in the way the work is scoped, explained and followed through.
Read the Clarity Standard →Responsibilities and expectations should be clear.
You should understand what matters and what happens next.
We should raise it and explain the implications before it becomes a surprise.
We should say so rather than pretend every question belongs with us.
A firm built for what comes next
Automation, cloud accounting and AI will continue to change the mechanics of the profession. We intend to embrace that.
People before paperwork
A tax bill affects what someone can take home. A hiring decision affects a team. A growing company affects the time, energy and security of the people behind it.
That’s why we don’t see accounts and tax as paperwork in isolation. They sit inside real lives and real decisions.
Our role is to make that financial side clearer, so clients can spend less energy wondering what’s going on and more energy on what matters to them.
How we want it to feel
Good service often feels effortless to the client because a lot of thought has gone into the system behind it.
Your business, your priorities and what you expect from the relationship.
What we’re handling, what we need from you and what happens next.
Repeatable processes and technology reduce avoidable friction and errors.
Clear language, clear answers and conversations when a conversation is better than another email.
The profession is changing quickly. We intend to keep learning and make the client experience better with it.
The idea behind the name
“I know where I stand. I understand what matters. And I know what happens next.”
That’s a far more meaningful measure of a good accounting relationship than how much technical language we can put into a meeting.
Let’s talk
